Un studiu detaliat al unei organizatii de vanzari, in unitati de profit, pe o perioada specxificata, analiza volumului de de vanzari (dupa regiune sau teritoriu, industrie, tipul de client, etc) este de obicei folosit ca ajutor in determinarea de eficientei efortului de vanzare.
