IBM Marketing Services Center - Bucharest is looking for talented and proactive people to join its team. About this role

As Channel Marketing Enablement and Events Specialist you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Enablement Actions, Events and Sponsorships for the Business Partners to increase skills and improve BP participation in Co-Marketing programs.


Key responsibilities


  • Be the Market subject matter expert on co-marketing processes and operations
  • Enable IBM internal stakeholders on processes, tools, new policies and design: educate and support Marketing and Sales (as needed), create and maintain education guides, tools and communities
  • Enable IBM business partners and distributors on the Co-marketing Center tool (CMC), process, and terms and conditions.
  • Drive with the Market marketing leader the co-marketing management system, with the objective of reducing payment cycle time (plan-to-pay) and exceptional approvals. Monitor, analyze, perform root cause analysis and build corrective actions. Implement an early-warning and fast resolution system of claims issues.
  • Counsel, coach the program managers on: partner set-up, incentive offerings support, activity support, claim support, business controls support
  • Support Business Controls during country reviews and audits
  • Manage the Exceptional Approval process for your assigned Market
  • Act as a focal point between Country/ Market and Europe GEO in terms of improvements on Co-marketing process and tools.


Events and Sponsorships:

  • Manages the end to end event process by coordinating the relationship with the agency, the execution of event materials, managing the budget, registration processes and the correct recording in the internal tools
  • Manage the event invitation process and communication towards Business Partners via agreed channels (PartnerWorld portal, CCDb tool)
  • Leverages Event Report Analysis to provide insights on event performance; work with Europe Country BP Marketing Manager on corrective action plan as needed
  • Collaborates with Market BP Marketing team to ensure adequate distribution of tasks across local vs. MSC resources
  • Takes responsibility for Events Process Compliance managed through all related internal tools (CTEBA, GRP, OET, MFR, EWS, MIM etc.)
  • Implements post event follow up plans to ensure the measurement of the event results
  • Supports and expands Market digital / social strategy to and through Partners
  • Enable Business Partners on and facilitate adoption of DCM (Digital Content Marketing) platform
  • Manages the Sponsorship process for IBM involvement in third party events, ensuring compliance with IBM guidance.



  • Event Management Experience
  • Previous marketing operations experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated leadership skills and project management skills.
  • Deep understanding of marketing data, segmentation and metrics
  • Italian language skills.
