Job Description

The Event Marketing Manager owns the face-to-face experiential strategy for Europe events and Market BU progression Events and its end to end execution for a given BU in support of the end-to-end campaign strategy and plan objectives. The Event Marketing Manager – BU events is accountable for event compliance, execution, performance & revenue goals and its integration with the overall campaign customer journey of that dedicated BU.

Pan-Geo European Events and Roadshows

 

Planning

  • Partner with the campaign manager in the planning of the end-to-end campaign and support campaign managers with F2F experiential industry insights and experience to be leveraged in defining the most appropriate usage of the different events tactics to optimize audience journey and plan objectives in the context of international events and or market roadshows
  • Working with WW, geo and market marketing roles, in accordance with WW and Geo guidance, develop the event strategy integrated as part of the overall campaign, including event investment levels, objective, target audience, RLM and leveraging data driven past performance and lessons learned.
  • Formulate Go/NoGo decision based on market competitive situation, audience target, program objectives and past event performance. Collaborate with campaign manager to define budget and ROI business case.

 

Execution 

  • Define and execute innovative F2F engaging experiences: relevant, inspiring, interactive and authentic.
  • Manage the event budget and follow the Global Event process and tools : EST-CTEBA, Nomination tool, Invitee tool, logo, issue POs in MFR-PO and own the Invoice Payment Verification process for F2F events and Assume responsibility for Global Event Process compliance
  • Project manage end-to end execution of events with DT, agencies, and vendors leveraging existing assets catalogs and proven best practices to always improve customer experience and ROI
  • Develop content recommendation working with portfolio and content managers, Reuse and adapt existing assets, manage speaker selection and enablement.
  • Develop drive to plan in collaboration with DT, develop internal communication strategy and sales enablement. Define internal staffing onsite
  • Insure that the Response lead management is defined in detail and implemented in the systems prior to the event, collect event responses and check its completeness, support the CM in LDR enablement, sales follow-up and nurturing plans.

 

Optimization

  • Assume responsibility for event performance
  • Monitor events results development and provide reporting on achievement compared to projections and benchmark, leverage Event report analysis to provide insight to the DT on event performance.
  • Understand individual event and DT/BU/Market event results / lessons learned and make necessary changes / recommendation for future events strategy and execution.

 

Market Progression Events

  • Plan and execute end to end BU market events dedicated to existing opportunities progression and closing including Event planning, Budget management, Event execution, RLM.
  • Leverage agile methods and develop reusable toolkits to optimize repetitive small efficient progression events to respond to BU business adjustment demand.
