People in this social media strategist role develop and implement social media strategies for the offering and overall Business Unit to attract and interact with targeted audiences. Their key responsibility is to achieve superior customer engagement and conversation, website traffic, and revenue by strategically utilising social media marketing tools and techniques, integrated with other POE projects. As a social media marketing specialist the focus is on really driving the social first mentality throughout the community.
This includes helping to grow the organic handles (Europe, Local and WW), identifying, training and educating SME’s and sellers to improve their social eminence and working closely with comms on influencer strategies (internal and external). This role also requires a core focus on supporting and consulting teams on best social media practice in terms of visuals & content and being an expert on reporting tools to understand and report campaign results. The social media strategist will also support the team in terms of improving the overall social media go to market (both organic and paid) and focusing on improving engagement rate and conversion through content and creative optimization.
Core tasks: Social media support and guidance to diamond teams and surrounding teams (events, sellers, SME’s), strong collaboration with comms on initiating a social first strategy (influencer strategy, internal and external, sharing of content easily to SME’s/sellers), reporting and analysing campaigns via Sprinklr, consultant on executing social best practices (alignment with agency on paid element), ensuring we are aligning to Global social media guidelines.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Must be social first driven
- Sprinklr expert to set up, analyse & evaluate social performance (paid and organic)
- Support and consult with diamond teams on improving social media activity (content, CTA, visuals)
- Team player. This role will need to work across multiple organic handle(s) and maintain an execution calendar to ensure their message is being shown in the right environment
- Good at education, to both marketing but also sellers & SME’s
- Previous Content creator or Agency experience desirable, to ensure link between organic and paid social media
