ROLE MISSION

Reporting to the Global Program Director, the Account Director oversees the team of 9 onsite members, including Lead Creative, Designers, Motion Graphics, Copywriters & Account Managers. With support from both OLIVER’s central HUB (UK) and global production HUBs.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

You will be part of a regional European hub.

 

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

  • Work in true collaboration with the client and be responsible for Brand Guardianship on their projects to ensure that the client experience is as positive as possible
  • Take overall financial control of accounts, including profitability, accuracy of forecasting, late payment, as well as fee negotiation, providing regular and timely reports to the Global Program Director
  • Own the execution of projects, run rates and client satisfaction through catchups with job owners and the weekly account/project management WIP
  • Accountable for the delivery of growth targets for the account
  • Escalation point if the client or internal SLA's and processes are not adhered to, or where there are process gaps. Ensure that these are captured along with a suggestion for improvement, and work with the Global Program Director and relevant department lead to rectify this
  • Negotiate to create win-win compromises with your client on behalf of your team members where needed
  • Identify new business opportunities through relationships, introducing IIG’s & Y&MJ capabilities where appropriate
  • Own the daily team oversight, reviews, 121s, weekly check-ins, as well as execution of campaigns, remastering and adaptation, run rates and client satisfaction through catchups with resources/ job owners and the weekly account management WIP
  • Accountable for the delivery of high-level and detailed campaign plans working with the client to understand how best to deliver, as well as management reports for the account
  • You will be working with our global stakeholders and providing insightful feedback. This role is key for connecting the local team with regional/global OLIVER initiatives
  • You ideally need to come from a background in creative and production with a strong delivery background. You should already understand the process and nuances for delivering high volumes of creative, adaptation and transcreation work
  • A strong passion for health and pharmaceutical brands
  • Ideally a strong background in a retail environment, both online and offline.

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships
  • Excellent account leadership skills with a developed financial and commercial acumen, creative judgment, strategic thinking, talent management, workforce planning and business growth
  • A proven track record of commercial growth across new and existing business
  • First-rate communications skills, with the ability to be articulate in person and in writing and strong presentation skills with an innate rapport build
  • The ability to motivate and engage team members to develop inclusion, high performance, an agile and collaborative culture
  • A clear understanding of all IIG group products and how to utilise this knowledge to the accounts advantage
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service
  • Highly creative with the ability to support idea generation and practically contribute to studio output
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other related software
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in:
    o Digital/ Social/ E-commerce
    o Creative
    o Production
    o Print
