La un moment acesta era principalul mod de remuneratie, dar a fost repede inlocuit de o combinatie de chitante si/sau rate mai mici prin care o parte din plata comisionului ii este data advertiser-ului.

Recognised advertising agencies and media independents receive fixed and published rebates from media owners when buying media. At one time this was the main form of agency remuneration, but it is rapidly being replaced by a combination of fees and/or agreed lower rates under which part or full repayment of the commission is made to the advertiser.
