Lighthouse PR Is Hiring a PR Specialist (Entry-Level Friendly)
Are you the kind of person who actually likes writing press releases? Who gets a rush from seeing a story you pitched go live? Who can balance three to-dos, an interview, and a strategy doc… all before lunch? Kidding. Almost.
But, if you are, then good. Because we’ve been waiting for you.
We’re looking for a PR Specialist who’s got a sharp mind, a strong pen, and a good instinct for what people care about. You might be fresh out of university, maybe you’ve done a few internships, or even your first job. Either way, if you’re smart, proactive, and ready to learn, we want you on our team.
You DON’T need 3–5 years of agency experience.
You just have to be organically curious, detail-oriented, and have a knack for telling stories that get noticed.
What Your Days at Work Will Look Like
A little writing, a little pitching, a little plotting how to make your client’s story the next big thing. More specifically:
- Writing press releases, Q&As, media kits, interviews, and longer-form pieces people actually want to read;
- Reaching out to journalists (without sounding like a robot), and building genuine media relationships;
- Working on campaigns for retail, tech, fintech, and FMCG clients, from planning to execution;
- Supporting small press events or media activations (nothing huge, but we make them count);
- Creating PR strategies and reports in PowerPoint that don’t make people fall asleep;
- Tracking results, organizing campaign coverage, and helping make our clients shine;
- Collaborating with creatives, social media folks, strategists, and more (because, you know, good PR is never done solo).
You’ll Totally Rock If You…
- Write clean, engaging copy in Romanian and English (fast and well, preferably);
- Know what makes a good story and can tailor it to both the media and the client;
- Can work independently but also enjoy bouncing ideas around (we’re ready, we promise);
- Are organized enough to keep track of deadlines, coverage, and a few different email threads;
- Can make a press event run smoothly without breaking a sweat (or at least showing it);
- Have the confidence to pitch your ideas, and the humility to learn when needed;
- Stay curious about the world, especially business, media, culture, and tech.
