We are looking for a Shop Manager to join the team and support OTOTO development as a platform for beautiful, independent brands, as well as its mission to inspire and facilitate every day steps towards a more sustainable and mindful lifestyle.

The Shop Manager is responsible for operating the store, for the constant improvement of customer experience, team efficiency and business performance.

 

What you’ll do

  • Manage the store to deliver business objectives and implement OTOTO concept.
  • Constantly evaluate the performance of the store from customer point of view.
  • Proactively look for opportunities and solutions for business growth and better store performance.
  • Draw conclusions from the business reports received and from insights in store. Plan actions for success.
  • Have a relevant presence in store, among customers, always looking for insights.
  • Fulfil store duties at least once day per week and one weekend per month in-store.
  • Implement the guidelines for merchandising, pricing and in-store communication.
  • Ensure a top-notch look and feel of the store.
  • Ensure the optimal level of stock and an accurate goods receipt.
  • Oversee the daily operations. Ensure the functioning of the store, find solutions or fill-in when needed.
  • Manage and develop the team.
  • Maintain the OTOTO culture.
  • Take any decision with the customer & company in mind.
  • Act as a host for the customers and the community and an ambassador for OTOTO and for our brands.
  • Feel and act as responsible for the actions of the team, according to work ethics, hospitality and OTOTO principles.

 

What you bring

  • Management experience, ideally in retail or HORECA.
  • Familiarity with sales targets and people management.
