About the Marketing Coordinator (MC) Program:

The Marketing Coordinator Program is a large global community of approx. 400 employees sitting at the intersection of Microsoft Marketing and agencies teams.

The Marketing Coordinator (MC) coordinates campaigns across Microsoft internal stakeholders, Global Service Delivery Hub teams, and third-party agencies and provides marketing campaign execution recommendations and consultation. They may also coordinate services with other local agencies and teams, such as social media or creative teams.

What is this role, and how does it positively impact the business?

The Marketing Coordinator (MC) Execution support specialist role supports and enables local “last mile” marketing execution through centralized marketing services and provides expertise in marketing tools, engines, and campaigns. They provide end-to-end planning, collaboration with the project leads, execution, and analysis services, with tangible positive results for key performance indicators. They also ensure that campaigns are running seamlessly across different systems and tools, so they provide a great experience for our customers and partners.
This role sits within the Commercial discipline and is focusing on business customers.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Activities Planning & Set-up

  • Translates Microsoft's marketing objectives to a demand generation plan
  • Implement governance principles in planning, set-up and measurement of demand generation activities
  • Applies targeting criteria and leverages pre-defined target lists
  • Work with the Project Execution Lead (PEL) to align projects and meet timelines

2. Execution & Project Management

  • Act as a last-mile execution specialist to ensure the timely and effective delivery of all activities
  • Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the execution phase and making real-time adjustments to keep projects on track
  • Reviews activities copy localizations

3. Data & Insights

  • Collects, interprets and reports results of activities, together with the project lead, makes recommendations to Microsoft stakeholders on improvements
  • Ensure all business leads are properly registered
  • Evaluate customer journey data flow through marketing dashboards

4. Subject Matter Expertise & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with the PEL on overall activities execution processes, KPIs, deployment of tools and services
  • Acts as advisor on commercial marketing tools and services

Required skills & competencies: 4+ years’ experience in marketing activities execution, incl. 2+ years in client-facing role with assigned account management responsibilities; Experience in managing projects and campaigns of growing complexity; Experience in cooperation with variety of stakeholders on client and agency side; Exposure to senior client stakeholders.
