We’re Hiring: PR Specialist (2–3 years experience)
Are you a communication professional with agency or media experience, ready to take the next step in a fast-moving, strategic PR environment? At Lighthouse PR, we’re looking for a PR Specialist with 2–3 years of experience — someone who is proactive, sharp, and able to contribute beyond execution, bringing both structure and ideas into the team.
If you enjoy working with media, building narratives, and contributing to communication strategies for complex industries, this could be the right place to grow further.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A degree in Communication, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in PR, communication, media, or marketing (agency or newsroom experience is a strong plus)
- Strong writing skills in Romanian and very good English
- Solid understanding of the Romanian media landscape and how newsrooms operate
- Ability to manage projects with a good level of autonomy
- Experience in drafting press materials (press releases, articles, Q&As, pitches)
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and propose solutions
- Comfort working on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Good PowerPoint and Excel skills
- A collaborative attitude and openness to feedback
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Draft and refine press releases, media invitations, articles, Q&As, and other communication materials
- Manage media relations for assigned projects, including outreach and follow-ups
- Contribute to communication strategies and campaign planning, not just execution
- Coordinate and support PR campaigns, media partnerships, and special projects
- Develop media lists and identify relevant journalists and opportunities
- Track media coverage, prepare press reviews, and contribute to reporting and analysis
- Support and co-manage press events and media activities
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across PR, social media, strategy, and creative
- Take ownership of specific tasks and deliverables within projects
