IXY Retail, the Romanian official partner of NEXT UK is expanding and preparing to launch its online store. We are looking for a hands-on, execution-driven Marketing Operations Specialist to manage in-store marketing activities while supporting our growing e-commerce initiatives.
This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys being close to the business, stores, customers and campaigns, turning plans into visible, measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Retail / Offline Marketing (Core Focus)
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at driving sales growth
- Plan and execute in-store campaigns (promotions, launches, seasonal sales)
- Coordinate visual merchandising in line with NEXT brand guidelines
- Manage POS materials (posters, displays, signage, price tags, flyers)
- Support store events, local activations and mall-related exposure (visual placements, radio, social media collaborations)
- Collaborate with store teams to ensure flawless campaign execution
- Build partnerships with other brands to increase traffic and sales
- Coordinate magazine collaborations for shopping/editorial visibility
- Monitor in-store campaign performance and customer response
- Support social media and newsletter coordination
Online & E-commerce Support
- Assist with online campaigns aligned with in-store activity
- Coordinate external agencies across:
- Social Media
- Influencer Marketing
- Email Marketing
- Product Management Operations
- Paid Advertising
- PR & Editorial Coverage
- Ensure consistency between offline and online marketing efforts
Coordination & Reporting
- Manage integrated marketing calendars
- Track campaign execution and prepare performance reports
- Coordinate suppliers and partners (printing, digital, production)
- Ensure deadlines and brand standards are respected
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in retail marketing, marketing operations or brand activation
- Strong understanding of offline retail marketing
- Organized, hands-on, and execution-focused mindset
- Comfortable working in a retail environment
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- High attention to detail and brand consistency
Nice to Have
- Experience in fashion retail
- Experience supporting an online store
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.)
- Basic analytics knowledge (Google Analytics, campaign KPIs)

This is a full-time, primarily on-site role based at our office. The selected candidate will also visit stores when needed (campaign launches, seasonal transitions, implementation of new graphics, or marketing activations).
