CONTEXT:
In Romania, over 30% of people end up regretting their home-buying decision. Often, the reason isn’t the house itself, but the neighborhood: schools, streets and daily rhythms they hadn’t fully considered.
The insight was simple yet powerful: no neighborhood is perfect. The bigger challenge was that the market lacks clear standards for good living. Storia, through the Storia Index, set a benchmark and told a story about what a truly livable neighborhood could be.
We partnered with experts in urbanism, education, transport, and environment, and worked with a data scientist who analyzed Storia Index data to identify neighborhoods with the highest scores across all indicators. These insights formed the foundation for imagining a 10/10 neighborhood. Not fantasy, but tangible, real-world principles: streets designed for people, schools open to communities, vibrant markets, and restored play spaces.
We transformed insights into an interactive, narrative-driven platform. The Perfect Neighborhood became a 3D city on index.storia.ro, where each street corner told a story about livable neighborhoods, allowing users to discover principles of good living through playful, interactive content.
A place this special needed a guide: someone curious who sees everything with wonder.
