CONTEXT:
To activate series fandom, we needed to re-immerse them into the universe of the show. Most shows do cuts and trailers reminiscent of the most iconic scenes to spark audience interest again, but we decided to do something more.
Stock Liquidation had 454 tracksuits- each with the precise marks from the show’s iconic deaths of players from season 1- scattered in the most popular thrift shops in Bucharest.
Each tracksuit in the collection marked “with slight traces of wear” had the timecode of death embedded on the label, so people were instantly transported in that exact scene, making them revisit season 1 as they loved it and increase their interest for what was supposed to come. This became the most wanted memorabilia, with everyone wanting a piece of the show and parading the costumes around town.
Bystanders were immersed both by spotting them and also other characters from the show, in ley locations around the city.
