CONTEXT:
Vodafone and Salvamont marked 20 years of collaboration with the “Vocea Muntelui” campaign, showcasing how technology, from the Salvamont app to thermal drones and AI, supports mountain rescue teams and enhances the safety of tourists. As one of Romania’s longest and most purposeful public-private partnerships, it demonstrates how innovation can create measurable social impact, contributing to over 130,000 lives saved. The anniversary campaign shifted the narrative from technology alone to the human connection it enables, celebrating a partnership that continues to make a real difference. Inspired by one real case among more than 110,000 over the past 20 years, the campaign set out to raise awareness on safe behaviour in the mountains, while revealing the unseen role of technology and the tireless efforts of rescue teams.
