Idea

Discussing women’s rights is deemed inappropriate in Kazakhstani society, as is a woman’s desire to study or work. Yet, nearly 9 million Kazakhstan women account for 40% of the country’s GDP and 52% of the country’s sole proprietors are female. ForteBank, a local bank encouraging female businesses with special support programs, wanted to change the public opinion and inspire women to start and develop their own businesses. The bank have released Forte Femme, a perfume to prominent and support female entrepreneurs throughout the country. ForteBank wanted to demonstrate how important women are to Kazakhstan’s economic development.
