Grapefruit and Dacia celebrate 20 years of digital partnership

In an industry where change is the only constant, few partnerships stand the test of time. For Grapefruit and Dacia, 2025 marks two decades of collaboration – a story built on trust, consistency, and continuous evolution.

From early initiatives to full digital transformation

In 2005, the Romanian automotive market was only beginning to explore digital opportunities. In that context, Dacia chose Grapefruit as its partner to turn technology into meaningful customer experiences. The collaboration started with brand support projects but grew in scale over time, keeping pace with shared ambitions.

“Each stage of this collaboration has been a lesson in how technology can become a true differentiator for an automotive brand. From the first presentation websites to complex digital ecosystems, we grew together, learning how to transform customer needs into simple, intuitive experiences”, says Georgiana Dragomir, CEO of Grapefruit.

Over the past 20 years, Dacia has redefined its relationship with customers through digitalization. What once revolved around showrooms and printed catalogs, has now evolved into a seamless, intuitive customer journey supported by integrated online solutions.

E-commerce platforms have simplified the buying process, financing tools have brought clarity and speed, and digital assistance services have provided predictability and security through instant access to support.

This transition has strengthened not only the customer experience, but also Dacia’s positioning as a car brand attuned to market needs and global industry trends.

“We are grateful for the trust that both Dacia and Renault have placed in us over the years. We are proud to have contributed to the digital transformation of such internationally recognized brands”, added Georgiana Dragomir.

A story about people and shared values

Beyond platforms and technologies, the essence of these 20 years lies in how Grapefruit and Dacia teams have worked together. Professionalism, agility, and transparent communication made ambitious projects possible, even during challenging times such as the pandemic.

“For Dacia, working with Grapefruit has meant the assurance of having a reliable partner by our side, one capable of understanding market changes and quickly turning ideas into the right solutions for our brands”, highlights Mihai Tănase, Marketing Director at Dacia.

The Grapefruit team confirms that long-term performance is only possible through mutual trust, adaptability, and continuous dialogue.

“In critical moments, such as the pandemic, we discovered that these resources were not just values, but essential conditions for finding innovative digital solutions and putting them into practice when clients needed them most”, recalls Mircea Muraru, Delivery Manager at Grapefruit.

Looking ahead

From one-off projects to complex digital ecosystems, the 20-year partnership between Grapefruit and Dacia has proven that success means continuous adaptation and a shared vision. The next chapter will focus on integrating AI-based solutions, creating more personalized experiences, and placing greater emphasis on sustainability.

“A partnership that lasts two decades is built on a solid foundation of trust, strengthened step by step through challenges we’ve overcome and achievements we’ve celebrated together. For Grapefruit, working with Dacia has never been just about technology, but also about people – mixed teams that grew together.

Looking ahead, I strongly believe the coming years will bring a new digital revolution, powered by artificial intelligence and sustainability. We are proud to be part of this journey and to continue shaping meaningful digital experiences for Dacia’s customers and communities”, emphasized Georgiana Dragomir, CEO of Grapefruit.
