Adrian Păsărică Awarded "Client of the Year" and Knight of the Order of The Creative Angel by #TheAlternativeSchool.
In an industry where creativity thrives on visionary support and bold partnerships, #TheAlternativeSchool names Adrian Păsărică, Head of Marketing at Orkla Foods Romania, as Client of the Year and offering him the honorary title of Knight of the Order of The Creative Angel, in recognition of his exceptional contribution to advancing creative excellence in marketing and communications.
With a professional path rooted in media, music, and visual arts, and culminating in the upper echelons of brand strategy and prosperous business leadership, Adrian has redefined the standards of client engagement in the creative process. From early campaigns for Tomi, LaMinut, or Ardealul to internationally acclaimed projects awarded at Cresta Awards, Golden Drum, Effie, or featured in Lürzer’s Archive, he has demonstrated that success lies where ideas of substance, cultural insight, and respect for the consumer’s intelligence are not only understood - but integrated into ecosystems that allow them to flourish, become part of pop culture, and drive healthy business growth.
The Client of the Year distinction acknowledges his collaborative spirit, the trust he places in the creative process, and his role in building a brand universe grounded in courage, trained visual sensitivity, and cultural relevance.
The title “Knight of the Order of The Creative Angel” is awarded to Adrian for his consistent support of innovation, his mentorship of emerging generations, and, through the accolades earned, his role as an ambassador of Romanian creativity on the international stage. Through his presence on juries, inspiring appearances at conferences, and academic engagements, Adrian is actively shaping the creative future of the industry.
“In a world where clients demand efficiency and creatives aim to bring bold ideas to life, Adrian has proven to be the perfect bridge between the two. With an exceptional eye for visuals and music, a natural empathy for the creative process and a left brain equally refined, Adrian not only sees the potential in campaigns that tick every box—from Lürzer’s Archive to strong business results—but makes them happen. With a near-Renaissance depth of perspective, he reminds us that we need more clients and more creatives like him,” said Teodora Migdalovici, founder of TheAlternativeSchool and Creativity Ambassador.

"The Order of The Creative Angel"
The honorary title of “Knight of the Order of The Creative Angel” is awarded once every 10 years by #TheAlternativeSchool to individuals in marketing and communications who have significantly contributed to the inspiration, support, connection, or international elevation of local talent.
Ten years ago, the distinction was awarded to Geo Baraian and Florentina Taudor, both long-standing supporters of Romania’s Young Lions teams. Their involvement led to Romania's first bronze in Print and gold in Design at the 24-hour youngsters competitions.
The title was also awarded to Dragoș Grigoriu, who, during the school’s pioneering years, saw the strategic importance of TheAlternativeSchool as a platform opening new perspectives for the industry. With his support, 15 talented young professionals participated each year in learning and networking experiences at Cannes Lions. Today, many of them are influential players in both the local and international marcom landscape.
In 2025, the Romanian delegation at Cannes Lions, formed in the #TheAlternativeSchool laboratories, is made up of 12 creatives: Cristiana Trifu & Mădălina Sandu (from Universal McCann / YL Digital), empowered by Raiffeisen Bank Romania; Alexandra Moisescu & Cătălina Manea (from 5 to go / YL Print); Alexandra Roșu-Ciobanu & Tudor Ile (YL PR), supported by Ursus Breweries; Diana Neagu (from Leo Burnett / student at Roger Hatchuel Academy) & Vlad Sima (ERA), both supported by INVIZIBILII.RO, Teodor Bivolaru (student at UNAGE Iași), winner of second place in the 20 Years: Call for Papers competition; Georgiana Chițac (Illustrator / ERA), Ioana Aștefănoaiei (Horison Marketing / ERA), and Larisa Ștefan (student at SNSPA).

Founded in 2005 by Teodora Migdalovici, #TheAlternativeSchool has, through bold strategy, lobbying, training, and creative initiatives, paved the way for Romanian talent to thrive in A-list global festivals—bridging junior and senior generations and connecting the world’s creative cultures in the process.
Among its notable milestones are: the first Romanian juror in international evaluation panels (prior to Romania’s major breakthrough), the facilitation of Young Lions competition access (with remarkable results), the launch of #LadiesFirst, the first industry mapping focused on female talent that opened doors to the “See It Be It” program, and ERA, the first local platform dedicated to minority and vulnerable creatives with high potential.
The school also led a massive industry mobilization in 2014 with over 151 Cannes Lions entries, and played a key role in positioning marcom as a strategic sector for Romanian export. Furthermore, it lobbied for the introduction of PR categories, student sections, and broader pro-creativity economic positioning within the festival.
